Praise Team
The Praise Team at Autumn Creek Baptist Church, also known as "Altar Call", plays a vital role in our music ministry, leading our congregation in worship and enhancing our community's spiritual experience through song. Our talented musicians and vocalists come together to create an atmosphere of praise that invites everyone to connect with God– from the classic hymns of old to the more contemporary modern worship hymns that are prevalent today. This page provides insight into the heart of our Praise Team and how it contributes to our church's mission.
God's Word reminds us that He is worthy of all our praise. There are numerous examples in God’s Word where music and songs were used to praise and bring honor to God. This is something we do not take for granted.
- 2 Samuel 22:4 - “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised.”
- Psalms 18:3 - “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised.”
- Psalms 145:3 - “Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised.”
- Psalms 96:4 - “For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.”
- Psalms 98:4 - "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth, and rejoice, and sing praise."
